AGRITOURISM OPERATORS FARM TOUR

July 21 - 23, 2025

The Tennessee Agritourism Association (TAA) invites farm owners, staff, and families to join us, as we spend 3 days exploring eight agritourism destinations in the greater Chicago area. The farms we visit will highlight an array of special agritourism and value-added interests including flowers, berries, apples, pumpkins, retail markets, garden centers, bakeries, special events, agricultural festivals and more! Learn from these seasoned ventures to help you scale, grow, and bring new ideas home to diversify your own farm operations.

Tour Stops:

TAA reserves the right to add, delete or make substitutions to the promoted stops at their discretion without notice.

Hotel and transportation to/from our point of origin are not included with tour registration fees.

Tour participants are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from Hampton by Hilton Chicago-Naperville. Individual vehicles will be parked there as we load the bus and hit the road for our multi-day farm tour.

TAA Member Scholarships:

Active Member Farms with membership in good standing as of February 1, 2025, qualify to receive a $250 scholarship per individual to attend the 2025 TAA Agritourism Operators Farm Tour. Scholarships are limited to a maximum of $500 per farm, or two attendees. In addition, to be eligible to receive scholarship funds, attendees must be 18 years or older and either own, work-at, or be a representing family member of the Active Member Farm. Each farm may register more than two attendees for the tour, but scholarship funds will only be applied for a maximum of two of the registrations.

Associate Member Organizations with membership in good standing as of February 1, 2025, qualify to receive a $250 scholarship to attend the 2025 TAA Agritourism Operators Farm Tour. Scholarships are limited to a maximum of $250 per registered organization, or one attendee. In addition, to be eligible to receive scholarship funds, attendees must be 18 years or older and either own, work-at, or be a representing party of the Associate Member Organization. Each organization may register more than one attendee for the tour, but scholarship funds will only be applied towards a single registration.

Registrations benefiting from TAA scholarship funds are non-refundable.

Hotel and Transportation Acknowledgment*

Hotel and transportation to/from our point of origin (Hampton by Hilton Chicago-Naperville) are not included with tour registration fees. Additionally, tour participants acknowledge they are responsible for securing their own accommodations with the host hotel before Friday, June 20, 2025.

Cancellation Policy

Registrations benefiting from TAA scholarship funds are non-refundable, but fully transferrable with TAA approval so long as the new attendee is a qualifying TAA member eligible to receive a scholarship. All transfer requests should be submitted to [email protected] for approval.

The following applies to all other registration types: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Cancellation requests submitted by June 30, are subject to a partial refund minus a $75 cancellation fee; plus TAA will retain any applicable funds from each registration to cover all non-refundable expenses that were incurred, or will be incurred as a result of the original registration. Registration fees are non-refundable beginning July 1, 2025. Registrations are fully transferrable to another individual for the 2025 bus tour. All transfer requests should be submitted to [email protected].
